FUMS is an online magazine, known for their humorous and satirical football social media posts. I had the pleasure to support the team for two years. During this time, my focus was mainly on creating graphics and content.
The magazine gained particular fame through its legendary bingo sheet style post format „Arbeitsnachweise“ (Work References), where they collect funny quotes by sports commentators during a match. These posts played a major role in the magazine’s long-term rise in popularity. Today, FUMS boasts over 230,000 followers on Instagram and more than 150,000 on Facebook.
Outcome and milestones
The „Arbeitsnachweise“ (Work References) post format with humorous and unconventional quotes by German football commentators like Marcel Reif and Fritz von Thurn und Taxis became a unique format in the FUMS magazine, gaining significant popularity and contributing greatly to the site’s success with several post formats following later on. I was able to prove my own creativity with post formats and content pieces, supoorting the existing ones to help FUMS grow.
